Free extra School Grass cuts, No quibble..
Cutting grass and additional maintenance services are seasonal. Flexibility is needed.
Many schools stipulate 18 cuts in their contract.
But if the growing season includes spells of hot and wet weather, your grass will grow longer and faster. Your set contract fee for 18 cuts might leave your site looking less than its best. You might need up to 24 cuts in the season!
If you specify 18 cuts in a season, this might be only 75% of your grass cutting needs.
North West Landscapes Ltd will not quibble about extra cuts. We will do the Extra Cuts for FREE. Yes! Our no quibble policy makes both your life and ours, easier, because we keep your grounds maintenance under control. We will be flexible in visit times to improve your site according to your needs. We're unobtrusive, minimise disruption to your school activities. We're an asset to your management.

Our latest GPS robot sports pitch marker will save you money!
Marking out football pitches or rugby pitches the old way is time consuming and disrupts your access to a site.
Robot GPS pitch line marking for any sports field marks accurately once. Once the site has been stored in our app, re line marking is automatic and takes a fraction of the time. It will slash your outfield line marking costs.

Mike Cove, Head Groundsman, Liverpool College
“Dave is a good, really personable chap. Everything they’ve done for us has been excellent. We had a problem with rubbish drainage on a part of our site. We didn’t have the type of machinery to deal with it. The area had become neglected. All I can say is North West Landscapes came in and did an excellent job”
National companies promise but cannot compete on service or quality
Recently we had a school come back to us after 3 years. The school's previous Head was very pleased with our service and the school grounds looked immaculate. It takes time to improve sites.
A new head teacher wanted to save on school grounds maintenance and put the contract out to tender.
A big, national company offered to significantly reduce costs.
They simply subcontracted work to an anonymous regional, small company. Did they have expertise or kit to do a good job? Was the subcontract demanding too much for too little?
After 3 year the site had degenerated to overgrown hedges, verges, a proliferation of weeds and vegetation. Where shrubs and beds has been diligently well maintained, they were now infested with weeds. Original planting was stripped by careless weed spraying. Decorous planting was removed; more weeds ensued. Sight lines were obscured across the site by uncontrolled growth.
Beware advertised extravagant cost savings
Site maintenance tenders too good to be true often hide ongoing extra costs. "Slash & Burn" contracts on price simply charge extra for additional visits above the basic contract agreement. Extra cuts and visits bump up the price your school pays annually. A big contractor subbing to under-powered contractors cuts the value of your ground maintenance spend at each turn.
